Question About Pop Century Bus Loading

I have been reading the different reports about Pop Century from people who have stayed there and they talk about the lines for the buses being different than for the other value resorts. What I am wondering, is how should we handle the wheelchair?

Normally we just pull out away from the line and park the chair towards what will be the back of the bus and my spouse then flags down the bus driver by waving to indicated that yes, their bus is the one we want. We were told by other bus drivers to do this, as they want to load the wheelchair first through the back doors and I am confused about whether or not there is some different process for this at Pop Century?

Same process I believe as you described. There is the winding rail where passengers file into, then there is a entrance for wheelchairs that takes them to the front of the line. Really easy to use, saw many people zip in and out with no problem.

In a load zone that services different areas, and in which there are no queue lines, what you already do is exactly what you should... It helps us (and you) out SO much :)

However, Pop Century is done a bit better. We have queue lines at the resort itself. If it goes well (and who had any doubt that it wouldnt) they will be expanded to include the All-Stars as well.

Similar to how the Magic Kingdom queue lines are set up, there is a regular line, and then there is a special line for parties with wheelchairs. It's been working out wonderfully so far.

Thanks for the information! Much to my shame, I have no memory of how the lines are set up at the Magic Kingdom for wheelchairs to load onto the buses there.

We will usually take the bus to the Magic Kingdom, but when we leave we eat a late lunch at one of the monorail resorts and then take the monorail to Epcot. A few years ago we stay to watch the parades, but haven't done that for some time because of the hassles with the wheelchair.

But I expect that it will all become more clear to me when I get to see it myself! Especially since we are going to try and see Wishes when we are there in February.
