I started the program monday at the weight of 184 and 24 points
When do I go down to 22 points?
The chart I have says 174, I just want to verify this with someone.
Thanks for all your help.
So far everything is going well, definately no hunger and no cheating yet, i know its only day three but heck im glad.
Im having a hard time getting to my 24 points. I guess I just need to eat some snacks :)

My chart says 174 for 22 points also.

Good luck!

I agree that you go down to 22 points at 174 pounds. Be sure to get ALL of your points in if you can. I've found that I lose more when using all of my points. I guess your metabolism slows down if you don't feed your body enough and that makes it harder to lose weight. Of course I've never had difficulty using all my regular points, my activity points, and my 35 flex points.;)

Sorry to highjack here, but I have a follow on question....

Can someone tell me about your daily points and flex points? I follow the old WW 1,2,3 Success and I just have straight points to use. I weigh 161, so how many points would I get a day and how many flex points would I get?

Here's the Points Target chart:
<table border="5">
<tr><td> <b>Your Weight Now <td> <b>POINTS Target
<tr><td> less than 150 pounds <td> 20
<tr><td> 150 to 174 pounds <td> 22
<tr><td> 175 to 199 pounds <td> 24
<tr><td> 200 to 224 pounds <td> 26
<tr><td> 225 to 249 pounds <td> 28
<tr><td> 250 to 274 pounds <td> 30
<tr><td> 275 to 299 pounds <td> 31
<tr><td> 300 to 324 pounds <td> 32
<tr><td> 325 to 349 pounds <td> 33
<tr><td> 350 pounds or more <td> 34
</table>

And then everyone gets 35 FlexPoints per week.

Thanks for posting the chart Kathy. I'm surprised that height doesn't come into play.

On the WW charts, height only really comes into play when determining healthy target weights.

I've never really pondered height in relation to daily points totals... hmmmm. Wonder if a 150# woman who's 5'0" needs the same daily calories to maintain as a 150# woman who's 5'8? Interesting question.

In any case, here's the WW chart for recommended healthy body weight ranges, by height:

<table border="5">
<tr><td> <b> Height <td> <b>Min Weight <td> <b>Max for ages 17-25 <td> <b>Max for ages 25-45 <td> <b>Max for all adults
<tr><td> 4'9" <td> 92 <td> 106 <td> 111 <td> 115
<tr><td> 4'10" <td> 95 <td> 110 <td> 115 <td> 119
<tr><td> 4'11" <td> 99 <td> 114 <td> 119 <td> 124
<tr><td> 5'0" <td> 102 <td> 118 <td> 123 <td> 128
<tr><td> 5'1" <td> 106 <td> 121 <td> 127 <td> 132
<tr><td> 5'2" <td> 109 <td> 125 <td> 131 <td> 136
<tr><td> 5'3" <td> 113 <td> 130 <td> 135 <td> 141
<tr><td> 5'4" <td> 116 <td> 134 <td> 140 <td> 145
<tr><td> 5'5" <td> 120 <td> 138 <td> 144 <td> 150
<tr><td> 5'6" <td> 124 <td> 142 <td> 148 <td> 155
<tr><td> 5'7" <td> 127 <td> 147 <td> 153 <td> 159
<tr><td> 5'8" <td> 131 <td> 151 <td> 158 <td> 164
<tr><td> 5'9" <td> 135 <td> 155 <td> 162 <td> 169
<tr><td> 5'10" <td> 139 <td> 160 <td> 167 <td> 174
<tr><td> 5'11" <td> 143 <td> 165 <td> 172 <td> 179
<tr><td> 6'0" <td> 147 <td> 169 <td> 177 <td> 184
<tr><td> 6'1" <td> 151 <td> 174 <td> 182 <td> 189
<tr><td> 6'2" <td> 155 <td> 179 <td> 187 <td> 194

I'm glad they DON'T consider height!

THIS is hard enough (for me) to obtain:
5'1" 106 121 127 132

I have NEVER, in my adult life, been 106 or 121. I think I was 118 in high school (first driver's license with recorded weight). And, 17 years ago, when I got pregnant with DS, I was at 133. Those weights are really tough for me, I swear. :(

I've been at 20 points for 8 weeks now. I started at 26, and after the first week, went down to 24. Oh how I *WISH* I had the points back.........WITHOUT the weight, of course. :p

I think I'll have to reach the weight I'M comfortable with, and then maintain, by adding back 4 points.....if and when that time comes. :o

Thank you all! I just wondered how it broke down because I kept reading how you all only get 20-24 points and I was thinking, I can't do that! I get 27 points a day on the 1,2,3 Succes, which if you factor in your points from the chart above and 5 flex points a day than I am still right on target....no wonder it works (when I stay within points!). :)

According to the chart above I need to be:

5'5": 120 138 144 150

The 138 weight range doesn't count because I am older than 25, so I am 11 pounds away from the high number and 13 pounds away from my goal, which is only 4 pounds over the norm, so I guess my goal is on target. I just want a normal BMI instead of overweight, so I would even be happy with 150!!!

Onward and downward! Thanks for the help, you guys are the best.

Thanks for all the info :bounce:
It was great. My First goal is going to be 145 and I'm going to see what I look like from there.
I tend to lose weight in my face and neck first and start to look sickly because I have prominent collar bones (they already stick out even though im overweight). So we will see, so far so good.
