Hi all,

I will be traveling to WDW Jan. 5-11th with a friend who has Celiac Disease (cannot eat gluten) and we'll be staying at Poly. This is my first time traveling as a DVC member so I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to these kinds of things. The grocery order form for Poly has set options to choose from and none of them are gluten free. Does anyone know if we can add items to the list/is there another order form for gluten free items? If not, any suggestions/other places to get groceries? Thank you all!

Garden Grocer
Orlando Grocery Express

Both outside companies we've used. Both were great.

We just did our first trip as DVC members in December. We used Garden Grocer based on recommendations and reviews on this site and it worked perfectly for us. The prices were more reasonable compared to the grocery order forms from the resorts. I am not sure off the top of my head but I think I recall there being a gluten free section on the website, or at least a section for special dietary needs. Just go to their website and you can browse and choose the products you want and set up a delivery window and they will deliver the order to bell services. It was really just that easy. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions. The experts here on these boards are great and somebody knows the answer to any question you will have. Enjoy.

They (GG) have a "Gluten Free" checkbox filter at the top so you can limit to those options.

In the UK, all the big supermarkets offer delivery. Is this not the case in the U.S. (Eg Walmart)?

We used dizzy dolphin. They are DVC MEMBERS and are wonderful. They have lots of options of where to shop.

I just placed our order for Jan 2nd with Garden Grocer - we always get beer delivered with our order. Wish I'd placed the order sooner - they were offering a 5% discount for placing it 15 days out. But we've always used GG. Works like a charm and you can request GF if you need to.

No at least not here in central Virginia. Honestly, I feel like I drive everywhere!! They may offer it in really big cities. We use Garden Grocer in Orlando, and they have done a great job of packaging everything, providing nice fresh produce for a good price.

Thanks. I just wondered as we've used GG for WDW as well and it's a good service but the prices seem a lot more for basic items like cheese, bread, fruit, etc than they would in UK supermarkets. I'm surprised that Walmart doesn't deliver in an area like Orlando, they seem to be missing out on revenue there! Surely, it's a matter of time...
