Question about Orbitz deals

Hello! My significant other and I are planning a trip for the end of the month and though Orbitz generally has lovely 15% off codes, usually they will put out a 20% code for summer. I was just wondering if anyone is familiar with the timing of 20% coupon; I wouldn't want to book something and then a couple of days later see a better deal.
We tend to stay at the Grand, and this will probably be the last trip we will financially be able to manage for a while. Orbitz always has the lowest price for the hotels on property, but if anyone knows of a better resource, I would appreciate it for all eternity!!!!

I am curious too!

Take a look at Cheaptickets- they have a 20% discount right now using the code: traveler20

When I watched Orbitz last year for 20% I think they had 3-4 over the year? They were pretty rare last year & I never did manage to time it right. When the 20% code finally popped up my dates weren't available (it was a WDW trip). Cheaptickets usually ran 4-5% more off than Orbitz (I already had Orbitz dollars in my account so that's why I stuck there). And IF the cancellation is free I'd book it when the Disney discount comes out no matter the coupon code. If a better coupon comes along, rebook.

And FWIW Orbitz prices always matched cheaptickets and other 3rd parties when I was comparing the same rooms.

Orbitz and Cheaptickets are owned by the same company and have very similar web pages...I typically use Ebates (2-3% cash back) and then go to Orbitz (15%), but used the traveler20 from Cheaptickets (only 1.25% cash back on ebates but still a better deal) for a July trip as it was $120 less for the same room.

We will monitor the situation and hopefully be able to stack discounts: Ebates, Orbitz or CT and Disney. This strategy for spring break saved us several hundred dollars over a direct through Disney discounted rate in March.

Do you have to use a desktop to use the promo codes on cheap tickets? I see nowhere to enter them on mobile. Oops I see I have to use the app, boo

The last time I found a 20% coupon from Orbitz, it wouldn't allow me to use it for Disney resorts. This was approximately a year ago, maybe a little more. It would be great if they did allow it.

Travelocity is almost an identical website to Orbitz and Cheaptickets. Travelocity doesn't limit the total discount like Orbitz does but I don't see any current coupons.

Just curious, have you tried pricing your trip out by booking it all yourself, separately?

I just compared Costco pricing to what I ordered, and I'm staying at a hotel right across the street, and including airfare I still beat their best price for just good neighbor hotel (a mile away) and 5-day parkhoppers)

I always book each component separately. I've never seen any kind of package deal that I can't beat.
