Question about MVMCP

Hi! Its our first trip for New Years time, and I saw on the schedule of the celebration that there's a X-Mas parade at MK on New Years day.

Do we have to buy tickets of MVMCP to go to MK on that day, or to see the parade???

Please help me I'm a bit confused!!!

The dates for MVMCP are:

Nov. 27 and 29, Dec. 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18 and 20. Up until Dec 20th, MVMCP is the only way to see the Christmas Parade. Starting Dec 21, it should run in place of the afternoon parade as part of your regular park admission. According to last year's schedule, January 1 was the last day for the parade, after that it went back to the regular afternoon parade.

Thank you very much Debbie, in that case I will change my park plans and go to MK for New Years day to see the parade! I think its worth it, don't you think? Will they be a big crowd on that day???
