We are staying @ BLT in a studio for two nights then moving to SSR to a one bedroom for just over a week. Will they move my luggage for me to SSR?? Also, if I have a few groceries will they move those and will they be able to keep things cool for me?? THanks,,!!

I'd be concerned about perishables. It might take some time being transported between resorts.

If you are concerned about perishables, just be sure you don't over supply for the first part of the trip. We usually have a rental car, and we have been known to buy a cheap styro cooler to put things in.

I was just concered if they could keep things cool for me....

I would not expect perishibles to travel very well in the move, unless you use a styro chest, as Diane suggests.

You will need to have everything packed up in your room, and be present when Bell Services picks up your luggage. The transfers are usually done in the afternoon, between 3pm and 4pm.

Call Bell Services at SSR when you are settled in there, and they will deliver your item. As you must be present for the delivery.

I would probably just have the groceries delivered for your arrival date to SSR..you could pick up a few things needed for the 2 nights at BLT at the store there...if you are doing a big order for over a week, I would worry that some of the food would spoil.

Thanks, that is what I was thinking. I was hoping to be able to have a case of water delivered to BLT is that possible?? I Have done it @ SSR before!!

Yes, but remember that there is a $10 additonal receiving charge per case of water at BLT because it is a convention resort, and the package shipping/receiving is contracted out.

We've done this with a large group and lots of groceries and I have to say that Bell Services did a fantastic job. We transferred from AKL to BWV and had no problems. They even brought a cooler for our cold stuff. Good luck with your "move"! :goodvibes

Oh gosh it might be worth it then to just have a few grocieries delivered then and add the water to that. So I do not have to pay the ten dollars!!

I think you still pay the $10 at BLT. I think it's for ANY package delivery.

It is only shipped items. Grocery deliveries, like garden grocer, wegoshop, as well owners locker go through Bell Services, so no additional charges except for tipping. The items shippedm like through UPS, FedEx or delivered by Staples, Office Depot, etc. are subject to the charge.
