i have a question would you or do you wear makeup to the parks? i have it all packed to go should i wear it in the parks? or do to the heat will it just run into a puddle on my shirt? dont get me wrong in mot someone who cant even go to the mailbox without her makeup its just when i go somewhere different it makes me look a little more finished so to say.

Absolutely!! I don't wear makeup daily when at home. However, I am also not having my picture taken then either ;) When it comes to family photos I like to look my best which means at least putting on a 5 minute face.

I always wear makeup in public lol. I keep a powder compact for the parks for touch ups.

I guess it depends what time of makeup.

I wear bare minerals so it's very light and I didn't have a problem. I would try and avoid heavy foundations... particularly during hotter times.

I personally wouldn't go makeup free since I'm in most of the pictures!!

I don't wear makeup in the parks especially if the temperature is over 75 degrees. I do usually put some on for dinner but in the parks it just seems silly to wear makeup to me.

I usually wear makeup in the parks, too. There are sooo many pictures being taken and I don't want to look crazy (Especially if you are getting pictures taken with Princesses). We normally only go in the cooler weather, though, but I think even if I went in the heat of summer I would still wear some.

Have fun! :)

I only wear makeup when I have to, but I like the family photo aspect of it, too...Want to look at least half-way there.

I like the Revlon Colorstay makeup. I use the one that's oil-free, and it really does stay, even in the heat and humidity. I always bring a light compact powder, but never have to use it (or maybe I don't think about it!):rotfl:

Other than that, some waterproof mascara, bronzer, and Burt's Bees lip gloss and I am ready to go (Have to have mascera, my eye lashes are non existent!)

If you are one of the lucky ones who can get away with just a bronzer, or nothing at all, I say go for it!

I do not wear makeup in the parks....Yes I look better with makeup, I also look better in heels, but I don't wear those either!:lmao:

I wear a tinted moisturizer with a high SPF, waterproof mascara, and a tinted lip balm with high SPF. I think it's just enough even though it is more geared to protecting my face than beauty. I plan to just twist up my hair everyday and wear a visor type hat. I do spray tan all summer so that helps.
But I think some people look beautiful without it and I know many are comfortable with more. Do what makes you feel good.

I brought and wore makeup for our ADRs, Party for the Senses and MNSSHP last year. I already felt bad as Guy and I didn't have time to go back to SSR before the Party, so I was dressed for heat, not for the Party, heh. (I was wearing a blue polo and a blue and white skirt and Minnie ears.) Our ADRs were at places like Citricos, so we dressed up a bit more.

I like to wear Laura Geller Balance & Brighten powder foundation. It doesn't run or get cakey in the heat and humidity. I also wear waterproof mascara and some lip gloss. Just enough make-up to look nice in photos.

I do wear light makeup. Some face cream with SPF, primer so my face is not shiny, blush, eyeshadow, mascara, and some lipgloss. This is kind of my everyday routine though, I don't like and don't really need to wear foundation or any heavy makeup.

You could use a little tinted lotion or maybe use a mild tanning solution. I wear a little mascara to keep from looking washed out but that's it.

So in case any of you didn't know - for those who wear makeup & it gets a little warm & you start to "glow" then you can cut up a coffee liner thingy to use to dab off the excess moisture from your face. It doesn't remove the makeup, just the "glowing effect". It was a tip I learned from my sorority during RUSH week.

If I didn't wear make-up, I'm pretty sure DH would stay at the resort!:lmao:

We were there last October and it was in the 90's most days, but I still wore my Bare Minerals powder, waterproof mascara and Revlon Colorstay eyeliner. I agree with pp...I LOVE Colorstay!!!:thumbsup2

I'd feel nekkid without makeup! I lighten up at WDW...just a light liquid foundation with spf 15, mascara and sparkly clear lip gloss also with spf (I like Nivea).

When I went in March, I wore a mineral foundation (maybelline....it was really inexpensive and worked well) with SPF, eyeliner ( I look SOOO washed out w.out it), mascara, and lip balm/gloss with SPF. I also wondered if I should bother wearing MU to the parks, but I do feel more comfortable with it on, so I decided to. I know it may sound like a lot, but my routine took me five minutes and I was out the door :)

I agree with everyone else...wear something you're comfortable with! For me it was makeup, so I went with it.

I am planning on using my mineral foundation at the parks, along with masacara and some lipstick.
