My kids really want to see this show, as it wasn't there the last time we visited WDW. I was reading in some places its fastpass and other places say its not fastpass. Is it a fastpass show? we are looking at trying to see the 4:15 show.... should we try and fast pass it right after the first show (1:20)
We are going to be there Feb 5 so crowds shouldn't be too bad but I want to make sure we get a spot!!! What do you suggest so my car junky boys don't miss this show?

They actually very RARELY distribute any FP's for this show.

Even if they do, you likely won't need them if you just show up 45 minutes before show-time, go in and find a seat.

We do enjoy this show.

If your going Feb 5 i don't think you'll have a problem seeing it. Last Jan we saw it and only got there like 10 mins early and there was plenty of seating.

Thanks everyone! I might try getting there 45 minutes early like the above poster suggested just because this is such a biggie "to do" for my kids. I want to try and get a good seat :rotfl:

This place is huge so I doubt they will run out of good seats. It is a good show! I'm not sure if its the best seats, but we like to sit down front.

I was JUST reading that ... 5,000 seats!!! WOW it is a lot bigger than I had thought.
I know they would be thrilled to get down in front as boys are boys and they want to get close to the action :rotfl:

I am surprised at how excited they are to see this particular show. They usually HATE seeing the shows at theme parks :rotfl: it takes time away from riding rides I guess :rotfl:

It would be good not to show up at the last minute though. We were there in October during a not too busy time. Even though the stadium holds 5000 people it seemed like they just kept coming in right until show time. The ones coming in the last 10 minutes may have found a spot but they had to do a lot of climbing to the top of the stadium. A reasonable amount of time early is sufficient.

We just got back from our trip and went to this show on Feb 5. DHS was PACKED this day... wall to wall people all in purple green and gold :rotfl:
I was in line 45 minutes early and got great seats. My DS10 was the one who REALLY REALLY wanted to see this more than anything... He got picked to drive the remote control car!!!! He got a special pin and a certificate for participating. I am doing a big trip report and haven't gotten to that day yet but any of you who were at the 4pm showing on Feb 5 the little blond hair boy who tried to wreck the car.... that was MY SON.... gosh I am so proud :rotfl:

We went on January 22, which was a Tuesday, and for whatever reason, it was packed. I think we got there about 20 minutes early, and we had to climb a ton of stairs to get to the very top of the stadium, which was almost full by the time we got in. It ended up being a great place to sit (second to last row)-- as we could see everything, but I would probably get there a lot earlier next time, as it also took us a LONG time to walk down all those stairs with 5,000 other people and get out of there...

Praline-- just noticed that this was your original post and then your update-- how INCREDIBLE for your DS to have been chosen to participate! That is extremely exciting!!

When the lady and guy explained it was a $100,000 car my son was in charge of ... DH jumped up and YELLED NOOOOOO :rotfl:
we saw us going into jail when he wrecked it :rotfl:
The rest of the day people were pointing to him and asking him about his part. There were many who thought he was planted before the show started .... but nope he wasn't. I didn't even realize who they were talking about when they called him until he was down the stairs and running across the stage :rotfl: I was like... "hey where is Ryan taking off too... oh he got picked!!!!" :lmao:

Saw that show 'Lets Do it!!" :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Edit:
Opps: I was there Feb 4. The blond boy that did the show was from the New Orleans area also

I would not get there super early if it is hot out. It is an unbarable theatre to sit in with the sun beating down on you. Yuck.

That was great that your son got picked. :thumbsup2 Especially if you didn't know about the outcome and could be part of the fun. :)

We didn't have a clue... it scared DH and I to death as DS is a bit of a wild child :rotfl: Man when those tires started smoking I about died!!!!

I don't remember what he was wearing, but he was from NoLa. I think we saw the later show.
