Question about La Brea bakery express and Jolly Holliday

Are the sandwiches all premade at the La Brea express bakery and the Jolly holiday bakery? We have some picky eaters and I was wondering if you can ask for no sauce/dressing or no cheese or substitute a different kind of cheese. Finding out some of these things in advance will make the trip go smoother.

Hmm...I thought someone who had a more complete answer would reply, but I guess I'll start you off. Both those locations definitely have pre-made sandwiches. I have seen them in the cases. Because we too have picky eaters in our group, we often don't even investigate further once we see pre-made sandwiches so I can't tell you for sure if you can get anything made to order at these locations. I thought maybe I read or heard a recommendation (podcast maybe?) to ask for a fresh sandwich at Jolly Holiday but this would take longer to obtain. Also, I still don't know if this allows for customization.

Not what you asked, but I do know that we were able to ask for a roast beef sandwich at the Pacific Wharf Cafe with just the parts DS10 wanted on it.

I saw that they were pre made at the Jolly Holiday, but I'm sure if you asked for something special they would accommodate you. I'm not sure about La Brea Bakery. Sorry!

I don't know about Jolly Holiday, but at La Brea... no, no they are not pre-made. It is a sit down restuarant and you are able to order it how ever you want.

the restaurant is that way, yes, but the quick service place they have just next door (which I believe the OP was referring to) has pre-made stuff.

They will ... I did a special order a few months ago ... no problem .... it just took a bit longer.
