In a one bedroom. Can a family of five stay? If one child is three and still sleeps in the pack n play?? Wondering what the policy on this is?? Thanks,!!!!

I'm curious about this too.

We just bought at SSR.

Last month we saw the 3br grand villa (sleeps 12) on tour. The tour person (not our guide) mentioned he had rented one of these for a kid's b-day party/sleepover. Said he fit 16, mostly kids, into it. Apparently, he had kids in sleeping bags on LR floor and up in hallway that overlooks the LR.

Not that we want to go this rout often; but....we thought about getting a GV and a studio to accomodate the extended family some time (14 of us).

If this is possible, I'd have no problem having a few of the little guys (ages 5-7) in sleeping bags.

Is this okay ~ to squeeze in more people? This person said Disney didn't mind; but, I doubt I'd find that in writing.

Sorry to hijack the thread. :rolleyes1

I can't be sure, but I've heard from some members on this board that if one sleeps 5 in a 1BR unit, it can very quickly lead to the destuction of the entire resort and if left unchecked, the problem may in fact cause the implosion of the entire universe. It's a complicated mathmatical formula that I don't fully understand, but I think global warming is in there somewhere also.

:rotfl2:

Member Services has been allowing five of any age to stay in a one bedroom. Additional towels, bed linens, cot or rollaway will not be provided. Many folks bring a sleeping bag or air mattress.

As occupancy threads usually become heated rapidly, the subject is limited to this thread: DVC Occupancy thread where you may continue the discussion if you wish.
