We are planning to spend the day at Epcot (FW then WS) and then hop in the evening to DHS for some evening FP attractions and then watch the fireworks. What is the best way to accomplish this? We will have our car as we are staying offsite. I guess we will have to walk back out of EP through FW to our car and then drive to DHS? Too bad because isn't there an easy way to get from EP to DHS through the international gateway?

You can walk through the IG to DHS. It is a bit of a hike or you can ride the boat from the IG to DHS but it stops along the way at Boardwalk, Yacht/Beach Club, and Swan/Dolphin before getting there. If you haven't done so it is a really neat trip to see the other resorts on crescent lake.

Yes I'd park at HS and walk to Epcot. It's about 1 mile and is a nice walk. You'll enter in the world showcase through the international gateway. Later when leaving you can either take the bus to HS, walk, or take the boat.

We prefer to walk as you can wait a good amount of time for the boat, then it makes a few stops before getting to HS. And it's also miserable when it's hot because there's no air conditioning on the boats.

anybody have one of Robo's maps of this walk?

WOW! That's fast service! You were reading my mind!

Park at DHS in the morning and take the bus to Epcot.

When you leave Epcot, walk or take the boat to DHS.

Totally agree with this. And, if you don't want to walk back to the Studios but the three stops along the way on the boat seem to be a bit too much, you can combine. Walk over to the Swan/Dolphin boat stop which will give you a nice view of Crescent Lake and then take the boat from there.

So would there be a bus at DHS early in the morning that would go to Epcot? We want to get to Epcot early so we can ride Test Track at Rope Drop. That looks like a long walk for first thing in the morning...

Yes, there's a bus.

The walk is about a mile.

I've read that there's a bus from DHS to the FW entrance of Epcot as well as the boat to the IG. Is that still the case?

Boat, yes.

There's no bus drop off at the IG. It would be the front of the park or at a nearby hotel and walk to the IG

So assuming I want to get to over to EP-FW entrance in time for rope drop to ride TT, what time should I arrive at DHS parking lot?

The boat may not be running if epcot is closed but yes there is a bus back to epcot either way.
