Question about HOJO

I booked our trip directly through the Disney travel company (or whatever they call it;) ). We're staying at the HoJo, a "standard" room. Anyone know which building these rooms are in? Are these queen beds, or full-size? How much more do the "premium" rooms cost, and is it worth it to up-grade?

Thanks!

Lorealle has responded to this question before here, but let me see if I can remember it right.

A standard room is usually a double/double in bldgs. 3-6 (two-story courtyard bldgs). You can pay to be upgraded to a premium disney view room with micro for $15 a night (IIRC).

I would all the HoJo and speak with Lorealle about your specific room requests.

We booked through Disney travel. Our room was on 2nd floor in building 3 (no elevator) Overlooked the pool. We had 2 oversized double beds with a folding cot in the closet. It was a huge room but we wanted a Disney view.
The wonderful young lad at the desk just told me to check in the A.M. As we were there 11 nights it was a little tougher to change for us but they did. We moved for the last 5 nights to a NQQ1 with a disney view at no extra charge. We were there over spring break so it was busy. But if you're only staying for a few days and the view really matters I would upgrade. If we had only been staying for a week we would have stayed in the room we had.

We just stayed in building 2, room type NQQ2, or something like that. It was the same price, using ent rate as the other buildings, except for Disney view rooms. It has queen beds.

What are your dates? If you call the DL hotel directly and talk to in house reservations, you might be able to get the Entertainment rate for the deluxe double queen rooms in building one, disney-facing with a balcony, for $74. a night. Standard rooms are $59 a night at the Ent. rate.

I found a link to a map of the hotel grounds: http://www.hojoanaheim.com/pdf/hotelmap.pdf
--and I believe they show room layouts and specify bed sized on their website.

hope that helps!
