question about guided tours

I booked Keys to the Kingdom and Hidden Treasures last week. My question is: They billed my credit card for the full amt right away. Is this normal? I don't mind if it is, I just thought it would be like booking Fantasmic dinner where they take your number to hold your ressie.

I only ask what others' experiences have been in case it was done in error and they bill me again when we take the tour in November.

I 've gone on 4 guided tours over the years and all were charged to my card right away.

I just got back from WDW and did the Backstage Magic tour. The total was charged to my cc when I booked the tour, but was told that I would get a refund as long as I cancelled a minimum of 48hrs prior to the day that the tour was booked for.
