Question about free parking for resort guests

We are staying in a hotel near the airport our first night. We plan to arrive early the next morning at Epcot before going to our wdw hotel. We have rented a car. What do I show the epcot parking attendant to get the free parking? Does it matter that my room won't be ready that early?

Your Magic Band should be sufficient. Do know that worst-case scenario you pay for parking then show receipt at the resort for reimbursement.

This..... this happened to us. We had to pay for parking because we had not checked into our hotel yet and they reimbursed us when we did. I believe it was a credit on our bill.

Side thought: Are you sure you want all your luggage sitting in the car roasting away in the FL sun all day? Personally I’d drop it off with bell services at the hotel on my way to EP.
