Question about FP+??

So we don't go till Dec but I was just playing around with FP selections on my phone and I tried selecting one for April, when I did it took me to where I had to choose options and it choose my three all together? Why didn't it just let me choose 1 attraction? Like it had 4 options but each with chosen rides and times I thought we could pick 1 ride at a time and the time you want if available? So confused.

Once you confirm an option (A, B, C, or Best) you'll be able to change the FP+ times on the last page. There will be a right sidebar with the initial chosen time and a link underneath to change that time. From there a drop down menu will show all of the available times, you'll select one and confirm.

You can but you have to take the times they give you first and then once you accept those you can change the times, or even change the attraction.

If you only choose 1 it will give you 2 more at random. If you don't want those other 2, and only really want 1 FP+ option, you can cancel the other 2 after confirming them. I just went last week, and I would suggest anything you want to definitely ride, do the FP+ option for. Things like It's a Small World were a 70 minute standby time. There are others like Meeting the Characters in Epcot that were only 5 minutes. So if you think you might want to ride it, take advantage of your 3 choices for each day.

I totally just realized I could have chosen three at the initial page to start them. I feel dumb lol
