Question about faxing room requests

I'll be splitting my vacation between CBR (7 days) and AKL (4 days). I'll have no problems faxing my room requests to CBR because I'll be at home ... but I'll be at WDW by the time I can fax my request to AKL. I know I could ask someone at home to send the fax for me, but I don't want to bother anyone (I'm also worried that they might forget )

Should I take my note and fax it while I'm staying at CBR or should I give AKL a call? My only requests are for a non-smoking room (medical reasons) and a quiet location.

Call them or even better why don't your drop by and request personally ahead of your stay - this way you also get a taste of the AKL as well

Your requests would be something that they could take care of when you check in at the resort. I wouldn't stress. Disney is very good at granting requests at check in.

We will be at POR for 5 nights and then moving to AKL for 3 nights. We called POR last night and spoke with the Room Controller and made our requests (we arrive this Sunday)!! When we called to confirm our reservations for both resorts, we were told to call AKL from POR a couple of days before our stay at AKL and do our requests at that time! He also noted on our confirmation what our requests were for AKL so I probably will not call! We have a standard room, non smoking, and I stated I would like "best view possible", but that was it! You should be fine when checking in to make your requests! Maybe we will see you there! We will be at AKL from 5/16 - 5/19

Thanks for the advice! My only real concern is the non-smoking room ... and maybe a quiet room I didn't realize that you could ask for something else at check-in if you didn't get exactly what you want. Good to know

I don't think there are any noisy rooms at CBR. Or at least I have never had one. We have always gotten non smoking without a problem. I sure Disney will sprinkle some pixie dust on your requests.
