Is it possible to do US/IOA in one day? I am thinking of doing a 1 day park-to-park ticket on Nov. 18. The crowd prediction calendar shows it as being a light day for both parks. I would be staying off-site and won't have express passes. I am debating on whether or not to buy 1 or 2 day tickets. Thanks a lot for any advice. If I need 2 day park tickets, I would go on 11/17 and then come back on 11/20. We are spending 4 other days at WDW.

You can do US/IOA in one day but you can't do ALL of US/IOA in one day. You can just buy one day tickets and upgrade them before you leave if you choose to do another day.

I mean, you could do almost every attraction in a day if you planned it well, but you wouldn't have much downtime. Basically:
1) Stay there from opening to closing.
2) Do Despicable Me first thing in the morning before the lines pick up.
3) Do single rider lines for a few of the eligible rides.
4) Eat meals quickly.
5) Don't hang around too much in certain areas.
6) Skip most of the shows.
You could do almost every attraction if you did that, but timing would still be pretty tight and you wouldn't get as much time to appreciate the park if you got two day passes.

Thanks for the advice. I will get the two day park tickets then. It sounds like the day would not be that enjoyable if we tried to rush through everything in one day. One kid has read through all of the Harry Potter books and the other one is almost done with the series. They probably would like more time in the park.

We are doing this the end of August. However, we are only planning on doing HP, Jurassic, and Suess area. My kids are too small for the real big rides and they don't want to do Transformers, etc. I have a very simple plan for touring and that's just doing what the kids want to do. If they just want to wander around HP..fine with me. The crowd level is at a 3/4 the day so I am hoping it isn't super super super crowded :)
