Hi, just wondering, if I book a cruise on line direct with Disney how do I get the tickets ect, do they post them to Australia or will I get them when we check in at resort?
Also what if I book with Dreams Unlimited to get OBC, how do I get them then?
Any info from someone who has done either of these please.

I booked direct and they sent everything, including my luggage tags, to my home in NZ.
It was quite exciting having that little parcel arrive in the mail.

Nearly all the times that we have cruised with Disney, all via a TA, we have left Aus before the time that Disney send out the luggage tags etc. We just roll up to the cruise port and they have all our details there when we get to the first security line. Just show your passports and bring the paperwork that is filled in online.

No problems. :)

Paperwork will be sent to you. If you use a TA they can nominate it be sent to your address. If it doesn't arrive in time just complete the online check in and make sure you know your stateroom number for the luggage tags they'll give you. Both these things will speed the process up.

Yep like others have said...ours came in Hyde mail..its a great little booklet with everything...:-) loved getting Disney Mail..

Ooh, great question! How long before your cruise do they send it? After you have PIF?

From memory it was about a month before my cruise.
I remember making some adjustments to my booking (change of Port Arrival time etc) after getting the little booklet, so some of the printed information in it was no longer correct.

Thanks Wanderlust! Only 7 months to wait!!!

LivingforDisney, we picked our cabin when we booked.

Another question.... When do you get to pick your cabin?

I too chose when I booked. I booked myself online and picked it then and there. I wanted a specific cabin, so rang Disney afterwards and asked them to put a note on my reservation that I wasn't interested in an upgrade.

Picking your cabin and dining time are two of the main benefits of booking early. The exception is if you opt for Guarantee Status where you just have to wait and Disney will pick your cabin for you.

By the way, you can begin a dummy booking on the Disney website to see what cabins are still available without having to go through the whole booking process.

What date are you sailing LisaAJ? You have probably mentioned it elsewhere but I have forgotten:)

When we booked through Dreams Unlimited the OBC showed on our room charge sheet. They automatically put one under your door 24-36 hours before the cruise ends or you can go to Guest Services anytime and request one.

Dreams Unlimited also leave a note in your stateroom about the OBC. If you have booked through them before and are leaving from Port Canaveral, they will leave a gift basket in your stateroom. :)

We are on the 7 night Eastern Caribbean leaving 18th October. It's our first ever cruise and I can't wait:)

Thanks for the info. I am planning a Jan 2016 cruise. But just want to be prepared as I intend to book it as soon as those dates open.
They are up to Aug 2015 now , anyone know when Jan2016 will appear on the website.
Lol , wishing our lives away, all this disney planning.

They release 6 months at a time u think. We booked our Jan 15 cruise in Dec 13 so I think you have a while to wait unfortunately. I'm sure the time will fly :)

You lucky thing! I really wanted to do a 7 night but we just didn't have the time. We are restricted to school holidays and had too many other things we wanted to do. I can't wait to hear all about yours!!
