Question about dinner and MVMCP

We are going to WDW in November and I'm trying to sort out ADR's, etc.

We want to attend the Christmas party one night. Will we want to schedule a TS dinner in MK that night, or does it not matter?

Most people try to schedule an adr ts at Mk nights of the party.Since you can get in the park as early as 4pm on party nights with just a party ticket, the most desirable meal times are 415p-6p.Most people like to be done well before the 7pm start time of festivities.Howerver, there is no real hardship eating at one of the restaurants along the monorail line etc.

We chose WCC last year before MVMCP. I found eating at the resort I was staying in was easiest and quite relaxing before the party. We did a late lunch and it worked out perfectly.

We are eating at 'Ohana. We are going to AK that day. When it's time for dinner, we are going to "go back to the resort for an early dinner and to rest". After we eat at 'Ohana, I am going to suprise the DS's with the MVMCP tickets.

Just a head's up, the Castle Lighting Ceremony is usually at 5:45 pm. We are going to try & see it and not make an ADR.

Is this done everyday in December or just the ones that MVMCP is held?

I think it's every day. So if you are going to MK that week more than once during dinner time you may have another chance to see it.

I suggest getting an early ADR in the park... Come to the park at 4:00 and eat around 4:30-5:00... You can always grab those "free cookies and coco" or another snack while you are waiting for the parade...This plan will allow you plenty of time to go on some rides and get eating out of the way before the party begins.

We always spend the whole day at MK - eat dinner around 3:30-4:00 (reservations are a MUST!!) - then enjoy the festivities for the rest of the night. One of my favorite traditions!!
