We are cruising on DCL in March and it is 200 a person cheaper to fly into Daytona Beach instead of MCO. I have no knowledge of this airport, is this a good option? We would be arriving late Friday night for a Sat morning cruise. Also we will be staying one night in or close to WDW how far away is Daytona Beach?

The Daytona Beach Airport is very nice and is very small. I would fly into Daytona to save $400. My only questions are how do you get to the ship on Saturday and how are you getting back to Daytona to catch your flight? I assume rental cars are somewhere in the picture. Daytona is around an hour and 15 minutes depending on traffic and day of the week from the WDW area. Hope this is of some help.

One positive is that your check-in at DB airport has to be so much better than what we experienced at MCO on the 15th of this month. It took us over a half hour to get through security. And this with 6 to 8 stations open and no major episodes.
