Question about dates for PIN codes

I've been reading lots of posts lately about the various PIN codes/offers that people have been receiving, and often they'll post the dates for which the code is valid. Is the code applicable if your stay doesn't fall completely within those valid dates? For example, I've seen several posts of PINs being valid 6/XX/10-8/14/10. If we're planning a vacation for 8/12/10-8/19/10, would this code be valid for our entire stay? I know that when free dining is offered to the public, it is valid for the length of your stay as long as you check in within the given dates. I just don't know if it works similarly for PIN codes. What about for public, FL resident, or AP room only discounts?

Generally for a pin or BB as long as you arrive "within" the offered dates you can normally get the promotion throughout the stay. Only when it's room only do you not get it for dates outside the range. I have a BB for FD and it ends Sept. 30. I arrive on Sept. 28 - Oct. 5, and I have the promotion throughout the stay.
