Question about Custodial?

So I have heard alot of people like it, and that makes me feel good about getting it. My question is, however, what kind of shoes do you need? I know they tell you to wait until you get there to get your shoes but it is really hard for me to find shoes that fit right so I would like to try to find them before I leave. From what I read somewhere else that most custodial CM wear all white but if it is different for different locations correct me please. Also if anyone has an pictures of the costumes that would be great!

I'm pretty sure it's black non-slip sneakers.... That's what I remember them being. And if you go on the custodial website for Disney, that's what the skipping guy is wearing.

Custodial Hosts and Hotesses in the Theme Parks and Downtown Disney Area wear black athletic shoes.

Custodial Hosts and Hostess at the Water Parks wear white athletic shoes.

As for the Resorts, it tends to vary by resort.

Yes, that about sums it up trisheroll! I worked in Epcot Future World Custodial and I wore some comfortable black dress shoes every day. Hope that helps! Oh yeah, hope you go to Epcot, it's a blast

Haha, funny story about the shorts, I ALWAYS wore shorts, even when literally everyone else wore pants. Ok, maybe I buckled a few times and took the pants... But you're absolutely right, it got so hot in those pants even during winter that I just couldn't stand it. I can't complain though, as Florida weather is beautiful. Oh yeah, let me think...I'm fairly certain that girls can wear shorts, but I definitely know that girls also have the option of a skirt type thing. I can sort of picture it in my head...haha, but I digress, I'm just reminiscing as usual. I'll tell you one thing, though, like I'm sure many people say, I'd definitely do it again. Custodial rocks!

Girls in custodial wear shorts or pants, just like the guys.

I just about always wore pants when I was in custodial, because I felt disgusting in shorts.
