im planning a trip for may, and ive been able to find some good deals for cypress pointe, and other properties that i believe are time-share....my question is--am i going to be hit up with one of those time-share spiels, or would it be just like just staying at a hotel? it seems like such a great deal, im afraid there must be a down side...your thoughts would be appreciated...thanks so much!!! :goodvibes

If any deal you find has tour stipulations it should be stated. Something like giving 90 minutes of your time etc..

if what website are you talking about?

if hotelkingdom, expedia or hotelmartusa - no you won't be required to attend any sales pitch.

you can if you want too.

but it is not required.

thanks for the responses guys!! it was actually hotelkingdom where i had found the deals, and i had checked the fine print and didnt see anything....just wanted to make sure i wasnt being incredibly dense!! thanks again for the help!!

You may be offered a chance to tour for a gift. Sometimes the gifts are quite nice. I usually agree if we have a morning to kill with nothing planned. If we have a busy vacation, we decline.

We have only been treated rudely once and I just blew it off. Don't do a tour if you're easily persuaded. Buying from the developer will seem like the greatest ideal ever, but there are much cheaper options. Just say no.

Or if you don't want to be bothered, don't tour at all.
