Hi all,
I was just wondering if I wanted to book a hotel in the concierge collection using points, and it turned out that there were none available for my dates, would I still be charged the $95 fee? Also would I only then be able to use my points for the Concierge collection or would I be able to keep them as DVC points and bank them if I needed to?

Thanks for your help

If there isn't any availability for your Conceirge Collection choice, there is no impact on your points. They are still DVC points. It is only after you actually make a Conceirge Collection reservation that your points become reservation points. Reservation points can't be used for DVC resorts or for II exchanges. They can only be used for something in the Conceirge Collection, the Disney Collection or the Adventurer's Collection. Reservation poiunts expire at the end of the use year - they cannot be banked.

AFAIK, there is no $95 fee for any of the options in the Conceirge Collection.

Best wishes -

Thanks for your quick response, Carol.
That's great to know that I won't 'lose' my points if I don't make a booking. But I'm a bit confused on something you said. What does 'AFAIK' mean?
and I thought there was a non-refundable transaction fee of $95 per comfirmed reservation?
Sorry I'm being a bit dense... :confused3

There is a $95 transaction fee for Concierge Collection reservations. It is charged when the reservation is made - if there is no availability, no reservation is made and no fee is charged.

AFAIK- As far as I know :)

Thanks, Doc -

I was almost positive that the $95 fee was only for II . (I know the fee for DCL is still $75). Should have checked before posting.

Best wishes -
