question about changing ressie w/ codes

So... I have a ressie for "room-only". I have seen from archives that the week we are going 2/7/04 has had discount codes for anyone to use. Can I call and have them honor that discount, if I change my room-only to a package with a discount code?

Can I do this more then once?
