We are heading down to the world early next year. My MIL and FIL are bringing my family (me, DH, DD 3, and DD 1) along with my BIL and SIL and their three boys. MIL and FIL will have the MH, my family will be in one cabin and BIL and SIL and their brood in another cabin.

What can we do to try and stay as close together as possible? Preferably we'd like our cabins to be next door to each other and MIL and FIL within walking distance. Is this doable?

I've never stayed at the Fort and I figured the experts here at the Dis could give me the heads up!!!

TIA

last aug, we did one rv site and a cabin. we were close but not walking with our kids ages. i would say get at least 2 golf carts. our guys loved riding between site and cabin, almost as much fun as the parks. make sure you get all ressies at same time asking to be close. also unless you are driving to parks, no car parking at boats to MK, another reason for golf cart. but all in all, our guys loved the Fort and all are ready to return.

If you get in 2100 cabin loop and 1100 camping loop you will be as close as you can get.

Yup. That's what we did last trip and it was perfect. Plus, the people staying in the cabins have easy access to the comfort station in the 1100 loop, which can help getting ready in the morning. Have fun!
