Question about buying more points after resale.

When I buy a resale contract I am well aware that you can't use this for Disney hotels outside of the Vacation Club ones (i.e. Disneyland Hotel). I am also aware about how that would be a poor way of using points as well, so you can spare those comments.

My question is, if I add on points through Disney after I buy a resale, would those add on points be eligable to be used at those Disney Hotels?

If you bought a 100-point AKV contract via resale, then added on another 75 points at AKV through Disney directly, only those 75 add-on points would be eligible for the Disney collection.

As long as Disney allows booking non-DVC Disney resorts. They are disappearing from the list as new resorts are added. If the Polynesian is added, that will only leave the Yacht Club (and the DL resorts) for deluxe resorts.
