Question about booking...

We just closed on our resale of 50 VB points, April UY. I expect to be able to make a reservation for next April at the 11 month window. We are not sure if we are going to try to go in Nov or Dec of 2009 for a short stay at WDW. Can we book VB at the 11 month window using this year's 50 points and our 2010 points, since they will be available on 4/1/10? If so, can we later change the VB ressie to use only 2010 points and use the 2009 points this Fall? Thanks for your help!

The 11 month window for Nov./Dec is past. In fact, you are nearly at the 7 month window for those dates. I'm confused about your VB plans. When is it you want to book VB?

Remember that you can book 11 months from day of check in at your home resort and 7 months from day of check in at non-home resorts. Since WDW trips will be non-home resorts, you would need to call right at 9 am of the 7 month booking window for any dates you are looking at for this November/December. If you are talking about Thanksgiving into the first week of December, it will be very difficult depending on where you want to stay and what villa size you require. With only 50 points, I'm assuming you want a studio, and they book up very quickly. You will have access to 100 points total if you wish to borrow from your 2010 use year as well.
