Right now we have a 5 day stay at pop century for December 18th booked as a room only reservation. Let's say I decide one month before my trip I decide I want to add MYW dining , so I have to book a package.... Will I be allowed to convert my package to from room only to MYW plus dining? I would be staying right before holiday season so i'm pretty sure it will be busy. Would I have to book a new reservation from scratch and risk not having the availability, or would they just add the MYW plus dinning and keep my reservation open? I'm just not sure of what I want to do yet, but do not want to be SOL when I decide I want the dining plan.

sorry, confused myself! :confused3

Disney will always take your money, I'm sure they'll let you upgrade without a problem ;)

Yes, yes and Yes! We have booked just our room for our Jan. 07 trip and will call back when the pkgs. come in for Magic your Way plus Dining. The CM I talked to said I can just change it when the new prices come out.

Hi. Unless things have changed, I don't believe you are able to convert a room only reservation to a package without canceling the room only reservation and then booking a new package reservation. The way Disney has it set up now, Room Only reservations and Magic Your Way package are booked in separate systems.

hmmm... seems like a good way too to avoid the 45 day cancellation policy. Well, I booked room only for dec.2006. hopefully a good deal will come out by then.

We were told last year before our trip by WDW reservations that the dining plan can be added up to 72 hrs prior to arrival.
