question about booking ressie

I own at BCV but want to stay at WLV. Should I book at BCV at 11 months to be sure I will have somewhere to stay if I don't get WLV. Can I then cancel my BCV ressie if WLV is available? Thanks!

Yes to both questions. Beware, if it's a popular time WLV can sometimes be very difficult to get reservations for.
