So in the past, we've always booked onboard for a specific cruise in the future. I plan on booking the "dummy" placeholder for the first time on our Bermuda cruise. It just occurred to me that I may need to book 2 placeholders. We always travel in 2 staterooms due to the snoring husband. :) Am I correct in my assumption that if I will need 2 rooms, I will need to book 2 placeholders, or can I just book one and then use it for 2 rooms later? Thanks!

A placeholder works just like an onboard booking for a specific cruise, except that the deposit is a flat $250 (and you won’t have a specific room or room type). If you and your husband are in 2 different staterooms, then you should be able to book 2 placeholders, and convert them into reservations for 2 specific rooms on a specific cruise later.

Thanks y’all! (Now to convince husband that this is a good use of $500. Lol!)
