Question about banking/borrowing

I did a really big no-no and borrowed points to make a reservation and then had to cancel because really unexpected stuff. I really don't think I am going to be able to get a vacation in before the end of the use year they are in. I am somewhat a rookie to all the rules, so was wondering about the ability to rent/transfer these points? I would appreciate any responses. Thanks in advance.

As long as they aren't holding points, normal rent/transfer rules apply, and you may do either as long as the resulting trip takes place before the end of the use year the points are in.

The borrowed points may be used to make a reservation for anyone as Diane stated. That will be your only option though as those points cannot be banked or transferred. If you used any current points for the cancelled reservation, they may be banked - subject to normal banking deadlines.

If you won't be able to use them yourself I'd offer them thru the Rent/Trade board.
