Question about autographed T-Shirt

Hello! I plan on leaving a DCL t-shirt at Guest Services to be autographed for my son. My question is... Will regular Sharpie markers work or should I buy some that are meant for fabric? Does anyone have any experience with this?

Either will work, but the regular might bleed on the fabric. I used fabric markers that didn't need to be heat set. If you buy a package, remove the light colored markers because they won't show up well (yellow, pink).

You will want to put a piece of cardboard inside the t-shirt also so the signatures don't bleed to the other side of the shirt.

You may want to go with fabric markers, as they may hold up better with repeated washings. We used sharpies and they have faded after several washings.

We used fabric markers both times we turned in t-shirts and they both still look great.

One is hung in DD's room (from 2011), and the other she wears from time to time (from 2012) and the signatures have not faded.
