I'd love to hear a comparsion between the Epcot princess meal and CRT. I did CRT (after BBB) with my daughter last year and she loved it...but would maybe like something a bit different this year. Not sure if the princess meals in these two places are similar...??
Sure wish they had a Fairy meal!!!
TIA for any input. Please chime in if you have a character experience favorite for a girl who loves characters of all kinds. (We already have Chef Mickey planned and she's not nutty about Pooh and friends).
I'm considering 1900 Park Faire for a change of characters, but what is the "dress code" for grownups? And I read it's the stepmother and stepsisters...?
Thanks!!!
We've done CRT for breakfast and were completely unimpressed. We'll do it, again, when DD2 is older and will remember it...but it's not something we do EVERY trip. It's just not worth it, for us.
I think the princess breakfast at Norway is a LOT better. I can't comment on the food quality (DW, DS, and DD2 all enjoyed it...especially the potato caserole) as both eldest DD and I were "coming back" from a stomach bug, when we went a couple weeks ago (the 11th of December). But the character interaction was stellar. And the variety and quantity of food was MUCH better than CRT (even if I didn't eat any of it). CRT wins on atmosphere (I mean...you're EATING in the castle...can't beat that!) but in just about ever other way I preffered the Princess breakfast. OH, and remember that your initial photo (with Belle, in her Yellow dress, for us) at the Princess breakfast is INCLUDED in the the price...not extra like it is at Chef Mickeys.

We saw Belle (up front), Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White, and Mulan...got some GREAT pics with all of them and they all spent a decent amount of time with the kids.
As for 1900 Park Faire...go for it. I'd peg "dress code" as extremely causual. You'll see lots of little one's dressed up in their princess best...but the adults are in typical theme park/vacation attire. You will NOT feel "underdressed" in a Tshirt and shorts, IMHO. The characters (for dinner!! Breakfast is, I think, Mary Poppins) are the stepmother, stepsisters, Prince Charming, and Cinderella. The Stepmother and Stepsisters are AWESOME...or have been both times we've been there since they replaced the mice. In character, but not scary at all. Very campy and fun!
