Question about adding Dining Plan

I'm renting points for a 7-night stay but only have 6-day tickets. Can I add the dining plan or do my park tickets need to be 7 days also?

The dining plan matches the nights of your reservation. Tickets are irrelevant.

Worth adding also, the dining plan allocates you all your points at the start, so you're not restricted to certain number of points per day.

With a DVC reservation, tickets are not required.

Wonderful, thank you! All I could find was that it has to be added to a Magic Your Way package. Past trips the kids were younger and not as interested in where we ate. This year it's all about the food!

The member you rented from will have to add the dining plan and it has to be paid for when added to the reservation. You need to add it to the reservation at least 48 hours before.

I rentedt through DVC Rental Store and they said had to add it no later than 30 days in advance. I was going to pay for it with my end-of-year bonus so I guess I'm out of luck (It's an early January trip). :-(

That may be their policy, but DVC's policy is up to 2 days prior to check-in.
