Question About Add-on Contract/Points

Figure someone here will be able to answer this one for us...

We recently closed on a small add-on resale contract - same resort, use year, etc. as our other contract. I know when we purchased our first resale contract we received an email with our membership number to setup an account. That being said, since the add-on should (hopefully, knock-on-wood) seamlessly integrate with our current membership, do we receive any sort of notification/email from Disney or will the points/contract just magically appear in our dashboard at some point?

Just trying to figure out if they'll "let us know" once everything has been transferred or if we need to obsessively stalk our dashboard for the next month or so...thanks!
 
I was sent an email that the contract had been loaded to my account. However, I did not receive anything for the points. I just kept checking and checking and checking.....
 
Once it is added, you will get the email. But, as mentioned, no email for when points show up as MS does that part.
