Question about a split stay?

Tomorrow is my 7 month window - DH and I are planning to do a split stay - 4 nights at BWV and 4 nights at BLT (assuming I can get availability)

Will MS be able to book both resorts tomorrow or do I need to call back in 4 days to book the BLT segment?

We've never done a split stay before, so I'm not sure if they're treated as 2 totally separate reservations or not....

You are booking 2 separate reservations, so you will need to wait 4 additional days to book the second half. "Split stay" is a term coined by discussion forums. DVC considers it to be 2 entirely different stays, so it makes sense that you need to wait for the 7 month window to open twice.
