Question About 2100 Loop

Can you tell I'm bored at work??

Last October while "looping" I noticed what looked to be a "comfort station" in the center section of the 2100 Loop.

Did this used to be a camping loop?? Or is this strictly a staging facility for mousekeeping for the cabins

We stayed in the 2100 loop in Dec. of 1980 in a truck camper. We were on our way back from the keys and stayed 2 nights over Christmas . I remember very little about the loop---but there were definitely other campers there along with us.
