Because the CM on the phone told me that I had 14 days to use our pass (and she said 14+1) I decided to email Disney. Following are the responses I received. I know the folks on this board told me it was 13+1 but I'm wondering if I take the email chain (printed out) with me on the trip if they would have to honor it? Thoughts?
Original email from me to Disney:
Hello,
We purchased one of the 10 Day Tickets with Park Hopper option that was
offered at a special price to Canadians a few months ago. On the
tickets it says Tickets must be used within 14 days of first use.
So if we use the ticket for the first time on October 1st (as an
example) does the last use have to be on the 14th (so 1st day of use
plus 13 days) or can it be on the 15th (1st day of use plus 14 days).
Thank you.
They then responded:
Hello Beverly,
Thank you for contacting Walt Disney World Ticketing.
Unused, multiday Magic Your Way Tickets purchased prior to February 12,
2017 will never expire until used. They may be used on any day during
normal park operating hours and will expire 14 days after the date of
first use. First use occurs the first time a Magic Your Way ticket is
used for admission to a Walt Disney World Theme Park or other gated
attraction, if included on the ticket. The ticket is then valid for that
day of use and the next 14 calendar days or until fully used, whichever
comes first.

Sooo, because I want to be absolutely clear I reiterate the question:
Hi Mark,
Thank you so much for your response. Apologies for bugging you again but I want to
make very sure I'm understanding clearly so I don't mess up the planning for our trip.
The ticket in question was purchased online on February 11, 2017.
It is a CAN Res. 10-Day Ticket with Park Hopper Option
The fine print says:
Item(s) are priced for Canada residents only. All Guests who will use Canada resident tickets or passes must present a Canadian passport prior to first use. If the Guest selects Will Call as the delivery method, the Guest must present a Canadian passport to exchange the Will Call certificate for a valid ticket at the theme park window or Guest Relations prior to first use. Tickets and any options purchased must be used within 14 days of first use. The first day of use must be on or before December 31, 2017.
Looking at a calendar for 2017. If we use the pass for the first time on Friday, November 27th then we can use the last of day of our 10 days on Friday, November 10th. So basically it's Day of Use Plus 14 days. Is this correct?
Thank you.
And this was their final response:
Hello Bev,
Thank you for contacting Walt Disney World Ticketing.
Based on the information you are providing, if you start your Disney world ticket on Oct 27th 2017 (Friday) your last day to use or upgrade your ticket would be 11/10/17 (Friday).
