Question about “park hours”

So we are getting high speed internet this week and my wife brought up this game. Sounded like a fun idea, but then she found out that the park “closes”? So if I live in Michigan and work until 12:30am, get home at 1am, and fire up the computer.. The park is going to be “closed” and I’m not going to be able to play? I honestly don’t know how the game works and am just looking for some solid clarification on that. Thanks!

For you, VMK opens at 10 AM and closes at 1 AM, and the latest time that you can log in is 12:50 AM. So, if you want to be able to play, you'll need to play earlier in the day.
