I am about to buy 200 pts at SSR, but I was wondering what if in the future I bought an additional 50 pts at BCV. Would I be able to book at both resorts for the 11 month window? Or would I only be able to book at BCV for 50 pt's worth? I hope this makes sense, I was a little confused

You are correct...you would be able to book at BCV with 50 points. The other 200 would not kick in until the 7 month window. Have you searched the resale market for BCV points...there pretty hard to get....

I have looked, I thought about buying resale total for BCV, but I really do not mind where I stay. Of course I would prefer BCV, but it would not kill me to stay at SSR. With the deal they got going right now, I do not think I can pass up SSR. I usually have my car with me, so transportation is not a big issue. I just hope it is not really terrible, like I have read.

There are always BWV points through Disney.....but you would be looking at $92 a point. We just bought in and felt SSR wasn't for us so we spent the extra $$ on BWV. What ever decision you make, you will be happy. Don't forget the friends and family promo ends Feb 1st....this promo makes SSR $83.30 per point.

Thanks for the info. I will not forget the promo, I just need to get a friend I figured I would see if I could use someone when we are ready to buy next week.

You would only be able to book 50 points worth at the 11 month window. You could then book the more, using your other points, at the 7 month window.

Friends and family ends on Wednesday... ..they haven't announced any new deals yet. If you are definitely going to buy in, think about the next couple of days. As far as refferals, don't worry about that, there plenty of people here willing to give you their name....myself included...keep that in mind.
