Since we're having two DIS meets in France during our May trip, I will be sure to try at least one of those Grey Goose Slushies. If it tastes good I'll be sure to try another just to be sure.

Since we're buying AP's in May, I've already told Joe that I'd love to hop in the car and go to WDW for the girls' b-days. It would be fantastic if Mary and her girls could join us.

Hope Jas' first day went okay! Sorry she was under the weather. That happens to me too, when I get ready to go to an interview I always get a cold or something.

Another suggestion is a grey goose slushie in one hand and a grand marnier slushie in the other

How long would it take to drive to WDW.....I have my fingers and toes crossed and I agree, it would be great if Mary and the girls could come too

Jasmine's first day went great! She had her break with another girl her age and they got to talking and it turns out she used to date Aladdin's best friend....such a small world!

I will absolutely do a PTR for September I love doing them and it helps get me organized and excited all at the same time!!!

I had an update all ready to post yesterday and I lost it It took me an hour and a half and when it disappeared I wanted to cry....I just didn't have the energy to start over. Hopefully Saturday morning I'll get one up!!!!

So nice to hear from you! Jas has been working quite a bit....saving her money for our trip to North Dakota next month. We are going down with my BFF and her daughter...can't wait to hit SuperTarget, Kohl's, Gordman's....it's my happy place!!!!

You are so sweet...it has been absolutely nuts around here. I am looking forward to our mini-getaway next month!! My plan is to get up early on Saturday morning and get an update done...might be the final one...maybe that's why I am procrastinating

All is well, Jasmine is working at least 4 shifts every week, I have been working quite a bit of overtime and we still have to find grad shoes and jewellery Wish us luck

HOw exciting to be shopping for Jasmine's Grad shoes and assessories. Eeoyre my DS11 is graduation grade 6 this year (He goes to a different school next year) and they have a small ceremony so he needs to be dressed up but it's just not the same as dressing a girl. I think we're going with the skinny pants, skinny tie and military inspired jacket.

I thought I would quickly check out the boards while Jasmine's in the shower. We are heading out in about an hour to head over to my BFF to give her adorable, loving husband our taxes to dothen Brenda, Jas and I are heading to the mall!!!

Eeoyre's outfit sounds so sharp!!! I can't believe he's graduating from grade 6 though...where does the time go!!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! As you can see in my previous post to Diamond we are heading out for grad shoes and accessories today.

I was at work yesterday and the owner of the store where Jasmine bought her dress came in to tell me that her dress arrived that morning Then he said it's the most beautiful shade of yellow I have every seen......YELLOW....YELLLOW.....it's supposed to have been dark olive He just decided he would through me over the edge on a Friday!! He confirmed it is dark olive and it's beautiful!!

We set up an appt for Thursday at 1pm, Jasmine will drive downtown to my work then her and I will go to the shop for her fitting. I'm hoping there won't be a lot of alternations considering she was measured and it was specially ordered, but who knows

I have every intention of taking my camera along that day so will post pictures of her dress by the end of the week!!!

Planning on being home this afternoon and evening so will get an actual day of our trip posted

It's been a while since I've been on the boards and I did promise pictures of Jasmine's graduation dress so I thought I better get on here and get those up!!

The fitting went perfectly!! The only alternation that needs to be done is the hemline needs to be taken up about 3/4 of an inch and that's it...it fit perfectly!!!

Secondly, not sure if you noticed but our ticker is gone I got quite the shock last weekend when I found out I owe the government quite a bit in taxes...quite a bit meaning most of our Disney money!!! I sat down with Jasmine after the shock wore off and explained there was no way a trip would be happening in September of this year...not enough time between now and then to get that much money together....makes me

Anyways, things could be worse and I keep telling myself that....I'm not listening all the time, but I keep telling myself that! Hopefully when my sis and her family go next year, we'll be able to join them, just like last summer!!

Ok, so now I hope you all understand why I haven't got a post up...everytime I went on the Boards to do it, I burst into tears....breaks my heart but it is what it is. I will try by next weekend to get the final post up from our February trip.

Thanks Dawn I knew my Dis friends would understand, I think I put off putting it in print because I didn't want to believe it was real! We were supposed to go to Fargo ND next month with my best friend and her daughter and we also cancelled that...hopefully we will go down there in September as I still have 2 weeks of vacation booked. Even a weekend vacation is better than no vacation

I passed on your compliments to Jasmine and she said thank you so much! I can only imagine how quickly it's going to come and go....I think I'll need an entire box of kleenex that day!

You are so right! We have wonderful memories and we have been fortunate enough over the years to have had many trips and I know we will have more in the future! Just think of how much souvenier money I can save in 18 months!
