I assume operation London bridge even for the family has everything specifically spelled out who is allowed to come when and where. I’m just assuming here but I would think the Royal family is even more reserved than the typical British family versus the typical American family where often when there’s a death EVERyONE comes by. I can see for example a Lord Snowden being given access to the Queen in her final moments before Meghan or even Catherine.

Sure, even 20 years ago I remember reading about the proper protocol for when The Queen passes. The sequence of events has likely been well rehearsed.

RIP Queen Elizabeth. She was a regal person, and so many people are going to mourn her passing. I admired her, and I too was shaken when CNN announced it, even though I expected it to be today

Yes (though there will be ceremonies later). BBC has already said “The King and Queen Consort will spend tonight at Balmoral”. I may have the exact sentence wrong, but the point is that they already referee to Charles and Camilla and “King and Queen Consort”.
