Good morning. Going to be 69 today, and in the 80's the next 2 days. My friend in CO is having the opposite, their high tomorrow will be 41 with snow showers and a freeze warning and a low of 29 tomorrow night. She's originally from NJ, so she's a die hard Yankees fan (right down to a Yankees tattoo), and she was almost crying last night at how bad they are doing in the World Series.
Summer is leaving around noon for the 7 1/2 hour drive to KY to drop her husband off. They're finding a cheap motel for the night, and then she's heading home tomorrow morning. I hope she doesn't have any car issues.
I got the whole cat house put together in less than 30 minutes yesterday. The replacement one they sent for the missing parts is arriving today. I contacted the company who sells them, and they're saying I ordered one without the liner. Uh, no, I went by the description on Chewy (which THEY gave to Chewy) and it most definitely says there's a liner for the inside and a fleece mat for the bottom. I told them they are listing false information and they need to send me a liner and mat. They're telling me to contact Chewy for help. I did, which is why they sent a replacement, and I can guarantee this one will be missing the same things. If Chewy can't do anything, I'll contact the consumer protection office at the Attorney General for MD and see if they can do something about it.
Off to get the trash out and take a nap. It was 4:30 am when I fell asleep and woke up at 8 to feed the cats.

Edited to add. Second house just arrived with same missing parts. I contacted Chewy, who issued me a $75 refund. He told me when I get the one I ordered for Summer for Christmas on Friday, to call him back and they will issue one for that also. He put a note on my account about it so I won't have any issues. They are contacting the company and filing a complaint about the incorrect information, which came directly from the company and not Chewy.
They have the BEST customer service ever!
