Good morning. The heat is back. Into the 90's for the next week. Just watered and did a few last minute quick cleanups. Am not going to miss going to the family thing today in any way shape or form

I was so excited I had a hard time sleeping last night. Her plane should be landing about 10:15 and she should be here by 1.
Mona, I hope they can fix your chair for you.

Great Tigger picture dear Lynn. Love to you my friend and everyone else. Armando, the service technician couldn't have been any nicer. Grace extra of God, the chair itself (two motors) is fine. The remote is what has a short. That makes perfect sense as it works on and off and in goes in its own way in between! Armando promised to call us later this afternoon with the price for a replacement remote through his company. Dad and I meanwhile will search on Amazon and Walmart. More chair updates to come. Afternoon hugs to all.

Good morning. It is another rainy one. I went out to breakfast this morning. I was going to go out by myself and mentioned that to Kenny last night. He texted and asked if he could join me so we had breakfast together. It was really nice. Yesterday he climbed 3, 4,000 footers in the White Mountains. They are all together so it was basically go up and across and back. His goal is to climb all the 4,000 footers in NH by the time he is 40. He has a bit over a year for that. He has 12 to go I believe and some he can do as a group. He is determined. After breakfast I went to Hannafords for a few items, cleaned the bathrooms and now plan to do some work. I went to the gym yesterday and did the treadmill. It was a good workout so I may go again today. It is my DGS Owen's birthday today. He is 6. I remember when he was born. Chris and I took care of older brother 18 month old Ethan for 5 days. That was quite an experience but so wonderful to have had the time with Ethan. Owen's friends party is next weekend.

@Snowysmom, so glad Kenny went with you to breakfast! It's one of my favorite things to do with my DS too.

Yesterday was quiet here, and rainy on and off. I started a "small" decluttering project on one drawer that was driving me nuts...and it turned into four drawers and a utensil crock but it feels so much more organized!

I also spent a good deal of time cutting up the old, cracked mat from under DH's office chair, so we could throw it away. It was slow going, and I ended up having to use large garden tools, but I put a show on the iPad and just plodded along. We got him a new one Friday, so his chair isn't catching anymore, and he cleaned up his office quite a bit in the process, so that will give him a nice fresh start for the new week.

The remote to my recliner chair officially gave out later yesterday. Grace of God l, I was able to catch a little sleep on my bed. Walmart.com indicates the new remote is coming today, what an extra blessing that would be! Truly any sleep and rest is such a blessing.
