Good morning. We have sun and blue skies and will hit 64 today. 70's tomorrow, might be some of our last nice weather, who knows. I didn't do much of anything. It was cold and windy outside, but nice and warm in here. Don watched football, and I played computer games and did some writing. My pc is having slowness issues, so I'm transferring everything I need to save to the laptop, just in case.

Have a great day

As of a few days ago I stopped receiving email notifications of new posts on threads I participate in.
Double checked my preferences - everything is still as it was. I haven't done anything different. Not going to spam/junk files. Mentioned it in a thread on the tech help board but no response there and nothing seems to be coming thru. Oh well, guess I'm stuck with it as is.
And I'm sick and tired of hearing about Taylor Swift at Chiefs games and doubly tired of hearing Jada Pinket Smith carry on.
My toes are cold - entirely my fault, I wore flip flops today.
Didn't sleep well last night.
Gee Whiz, I think I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning 🤪

Good Morning friends,

Thanks, dear Snowysmom so much. I will be making calls later this morning (too early right now). Thank you and your family again with all my heart for the home and love you are giving Clifford! I have noticed there is a Disney game called Eye Spy. I have never played it. Perhaps your grandkids might enjoy :)

Enjoy shopping dear PollyannaMom! So glad to hear your DS is back to work. Prayers always for him to be well.

Dear Lynn, so glad you did have a more relaxing Sunday, yay!

Easyas, hug, get some rest. I am not interested in the latest (or oldest) celebrity news that is for sure!

:grouphug:to all. I will come back later.

@easyas123 I am totally with you on the Taylor Swift thing. With all that’s going on in the world I couldn’t give two shoots less about TS and her latest fling (or Jada, or any of them and their shenanigans, for that matter)!

Snowysmom, I’m glad Kenny found a dog that fits well with his family. Lucky boy. :lovestruc Grady was positive for heartworm, too. I feel like he gets a little winded sometimes but it could just be that that’s him.

We had a nice day at the Phoenix Zoo the other day, but boy, was it hot! Water from mist fans dried up just hitting the hot air, we never even felt it! Afterward we hit an Italian festival and then visited Scottsdale and shopped a bit. Scorched and lobster-red with my rosacea by the time we got back. Yesterday we decided to just have a complete pool day. It was so relaxing! We’ve been exhausted from all the running around and 3hr time difference. Lots of good Mexican food here that I’m sure we’ll be craving later on. We’d like to come back some day as there is so much to do. This week the weather here is better than last week - in the 80s. (Figures!)

Hugs to all. I hope everyone has a good Monday! 🐥

@Pea-n-Me Glad you are having a nice time in Arizona. It is lovely there but so hot. I have been to Sedona but not Phoenix or Scottsdale. Have fun!

The plumber was here and fixed what he believes is the issue. He had to cut 2 small squares into the bathroom wall. There was a very loose screw on some part behind the wall behind the handle assembly. He said it is a factory installed screw on some part that the installers probably never even looked at and the probably should have. I will be using the bathroom again and watching for any dripping in the basement. If it stays dry until Friday I will call him and he will tell the builder to send someone to fix the wall. I hope I don't have to chase them for this fix. And I hope this is the answer to the problem. Kenny is coming by just to take a look in case something was missed. I like to have more sets of eyes. This way he can at least see what I was talking about. Jeff saw the video I took and he thought this was a plausible explanation. I went to salt therapy and actually feel asleep for a few minutes. I hope the salt helps the allergies.

Have a good rest of the day.

:dogdance:and of course all furry friend prayers to all of you and thanks always for the love you give them and let them gift you!

I did spend most of today working on healthcare stuff and will do more tomorrow. I emailed the podiatrist recommended by my dentist and sure hope he will write back. I will God willing have more information tomorrow. Thanks everyone always for your extra care. Prayers we all sleep well tonight with sweet dreams!

Couldn't agree more with you. It is really kinda sad that so many ppl get caught up in this stuff. Don't get me wrong, I can be very easy going about things even with what is happening in the world but this is just too much for me.

@flyingdumbo127 I hope you hear back from the podiatrist.

Good morning. 37 here this morning which is the coldest morning so far. It is supposed to get around 60 today so I hope it hurries up and gets there. Kenny came by last night and brought his dog. Clifford just sniffed around came over for some attention and then sniffed again. He rode in the car well, sitting in the passenger seat. At his house his GF's cat and Clifford were in the same room napping even though it was on opposite sides of the room. Leash training is next for Clifford. I used my master bath again this morning finally. The dripping had stopped after the plumber left. Now to see if it stays stopped. 🤞

Off to work. Have a good day.

Glad to hear the plumber was able to come and fix the drip @Snowysmom!

Shopping was fun yesterday and we found some great deals! We also had lunch outside (yay for nice weather) and shared vacation photos. (They went to Nova Scotia a couple of weeks before our recent mini-break.)

Today I have two classes and need to stop at the grocery store on the way home.

Good morning. Frosty 35 this morning, but going to low 70's. The rest of the week will be the same. I may be uncovering the ac by Thursday if it gets as warm as they predict. It will only take 5 minutes. I was thinking that I may have to keep the windows closed while the tree is getting cut so not to hear the chain saws so loudly.

I went outside yesterday and started moving the big pile of broken and fallen branches into the garden burn pile so I can burn them down before I finish closing down the outside water for the year. I got about 1/2 of it moved and my back told me to quit, so I did. Going to try and move the rest of it today and burn it this weekend.

Nothing new going on here, same old same old

@Snowysmom So glad the leak has stopped. I hope they come and fix the wall as soon as possible.

Have a great day everyone.

@SpaceMan5 --Welcome to our thread! :welcome:

Good morning.

Home sick from work yesterday. I thought I was starting with allergies on Friday but by Sunday it turned to either a horrible head cold or a sinus infection. I'm completely stopped up in my head, nights have been rough because I can't breathe through my nose so when I wake up my throat is sore. What a mess. I really should be home today but since I'm off the rest of the week starting tomorrow, I figured I probably should come in. Sitting here at 10:30 and eating a bowl of chicken noodle soup.

I ended up getting a bunch of clothes for Mia and her big car seat for her birthday present. I know the car seat is more for Evan or Bailey but since I bought her all that clothes, I can use it all as her present. She's having a big party in a couple of weeks so she'll get plenty of toys.

Stopped down at Evan's house on Sunday to say good-bye to his cat Zeus. He's going to have to put him down in the coming weeks, found out he has end stage renal failure. I stopped at the store and bought them a couple of gallons of ice cream, told him that he'll probably need that soon. Always better to cry in a bowl of ice cream.

Snowysmom - sounds like your son adopted a great dog.

Back to work and eating my soup, have a great day!

:hug:Feel better, Jen! I am also so sorry about Zeus.

Thanks Snowysmom so much. I haven't heard anything yet. I am sure hoping to receive a reply at the end of the day today which is what his receptionist had told me. Oh no! I had waited over half an hour! The phone finally was ringing (meaning an agent was supposed to come on the line to answer some health care questions i have) only to disconnect. So frustrating! I will try again! :hug:always to you and God Bless Clifford indeed!

PollyannaMom:hug:yay that you had a nice lunch and got to do so outside, how lovely. I am so glad you got to enjoy some fun my friend.

Lynn:hug:you just please take care of yourself!

Same here pretty much. Dad is at the laundromat followed by Ralphs. Wishing all of you a truly good Tuesday :)

@footballmouse So sorry about Zeus. That is such a hard decision.

I ended up taking some sick time today for sinus issues most likely due to allergies. My sinuses are so sore and the pain is going right into my teeth, ear, and side of my face. Plus I am really tired. I ended up getting some of the super decongestant which I don't like to take but the other stuff was not working. It helped a bit and I will take another one soon. I have been lazy today and just dozing off and on. Time for some tea.

Have a nice evening.
