Happy Hump Day!

Once again, did nothing last night. Fed my animals when I got home and then went out and fed the fish & birds . We haven't had rain in a long while so I need to keep the bird feeder filled. We're hitting the 100's the rest of the week, and that doesn't include the heat index.

Exciting night tonight for Cincinnati soccer fans . This generation's best soccer player, Lionel Messi, is playing in Cincinnati tonight. He plays for Miami and they're playing against FC Cincinnati. I'll be watching it at home and I told Evan if he doesn't get the channel (he doesn't have cable) then to come to my house and watch it. Hopefully it will be an exciting game.

I have a dermatology appointment today after work. With all the tanning I do, I get yearly skin checks.

Snowysmom - sounds like everything turned out with the condo, that's great news.

Good morning. Went down to 54 last night, is 60 now and heading for low 80's. I got the lawn mowed last night and I just finished weed whacking. It's errand and grocery day, so I have to get moving.

@flyingdumbo127 - Hope you get some good news from the dentist.

Just a quick hello. My dad is now in the ICU. He's still needs surgery so continued prayers would be welcomed. I did visit him again today and he was a little ornery so that was nice to see. The last 2 days he was out of it. I did take my mom some food and drink the first day and she did appreciate it as I knew she would and my brother is making sure she eats.

My daughter got the second opinion on Link and sadly we will have to say good-bye. This vet treated his cancer and told my daughter that spending any more money on him is a waste of money. The drugs that cured his cancer are taking his life as they are what damaged his kidneys. I feel bad for them but when my daughter talked about possibly trying to wait I got a bit angry and told her she was only thinking of herself, not Link. I also told her I was in no mood to discuss it any further because she should be more worried about her grandfather and her grandmother. I didn't mean to get harsh with her but Link is down to about 10% kidney function. he may not be acting in pain but he is ready to go. Crystal said she realized it and knows it is the best thing for him but she is sad.

Ella has orientation for high school tomorrow so I need to drive to that. I was hoping to be with my mom if dad goes into surgery but she will be ok. It's not a long procedure and the main issue cleared up thankfully.

Good Morning. It should be sunny today with temps in the 70s. I can handle that. Worked in the office yesterday instead of today. Watching the grandkids for a bit today. I close on the condo tomorrow. I have so far set up electric, propane, condo ins. I need to call for cable and internet. My appliances are being delivered next week. I was up for alot of the nice having an anxiety attack thinking about all I have to do and how it is going to get done. I know Kenny has to help me alot and I am not sure if he has the time or what is schedule is like. I know he is away next weekend. Since I don't move in until the end of Sept hopefully everything can be done by then. I am getting really anxious about picking curtains so I decided to just get some inexpensive ones for now. That way if they do not work out then I can replace them down the road. I tell myself, Just buy some, who cares! My brain is just whirling! And now to make it worse i am going off to work. That really makes my brain spin these days.

Good Thursday Morning!

Wow, are we having some storms come through right now . Once the storms pass it will be getting up in the 100's (heat index will be around 116).

Everything went great at my dermatology appointment yesterday . Stopped at Chic-fil-a and grabbed their grilled chicken nuggets and the kale bowl, so good. Ate that while I watched the 1st game of the Reds doubleheader (Reds won), then I switched over to the soccer game (we lost in an exciting sudden death shoot-out), and then since the Reds are playing on the west coast I was able to start their 2nd game of the doubleheader (fell asleep but they won).

Good morning. Cloudy and calling for rain, temps low 80's. We had one brief shower while I was out, came home to find out it had dumped down here. Got all of my errands done. Used the Walmart+ scan and go app for the first time in the store. I liked it, just going to have to get used to it. I kept forgetting to scan and had to keep taking the item back out to do it, lol. Darryl called last night, he's going to come tomorrow and Saturday and do the outdoor painting. Then I won't have to look at paint cans or supplies again for a long time.

Good evening. Chilly day here in Philly with a ton of rain.

Ella's orientation went great and of course grandmom bought her a shirt and sweat pants for school. She has a very generous grandmother lol. I think sometimes I overdo with the 3 kids because of the way their other supposed grandparents treat them. My grandkids don't exist.

My dad was scheduled for surgery today but his numbers were still to high. He is on blood thinners so I understand what they are doing. They are almost there so hopefully tomorrow.

Other than that not a whole lot going on. I am hoping to day trip it to the shore one day in the next two weeks, hopefully next week if I can carve out the time, and depending on how much the knee is acting up. Long walks on the sand and boards will not help if it's a bad day.

I got some zucchini last week in Lancaster and decided to make stuffed zucchini with pasta for dinner tonight. Not sure Jim will like it but he better, There is enough for dinner over the weekend too.
