Continuing prayers dear Taz for your dad and always, my friend for you. Please take care of yourself

Fingers crossed! My dad was scheduled for surgery today but his numbers were still to high. He is on blood thinners so I understand what they are doing. They are almost there so hopefully tomorrow.

Lynn. After all you have recently been through remodel wise, once all is said and done, my vote would be to let well enough alone for a while! Revisit making any changes at a later time unless, of course, there is something both you and Don agree on now. Just want YOU to have some additional rest and peace, you know that!Good morning. It is rainy and dreary here. It is supposed to rain all day. I close on the condo today. Then I go to get the keys. I have cable coming on Monday to set up cable, internet, and wifi. Kenny works this weekend so nothing will get done at the condo except for some cleaning I will do. He is very kind to be doing so much for me. I do not like to be a burden but I cannot do some things myself. I am taking it one day at a time and not overdoing it. Right now I am very anxious and sad to be honest to be moving on yet again and Chris is not here. All the changes are tough and hitting me hard right now.
I know you don't want to be a burden, but I'm also pretty sure Kenny doesn't see it that way. - If I had to guess, based on how we feel about DH's parents, he sees all the things you've done for him over the years and is happy to be able to pay you back just a tiny bit!Awww, I love that!Jacob comes home from working in Kansas this weekend so he'll stop by and grab his cat, Piper, who's been staying at my house. I told her last night that she's been a good girl and she's allowed to come back to Grandma's house any time she wants.
Poor munchkin!I picked Mia up yesterday from Bailey's work. She couldn't go to the sitter, Mia has hand, foot, mouth. Poor thing is miserable, hurt her to eat or take her bottle b/c of the sores in her mouth. I didn't find all this out until I picked her up, if I'd know she was sick I would have made sure I had a new stuffie for her.

I saw a quote with the reminder that, 'You are not a burden, rather, you are carrying a burden. ...A burden that is, just now, too heavy to carry alone, so people who love you are lending a hand.'Good morning. (ETA: my words, not the exact quote)
