Okay, still at work but I usually catch up on a show during lunch. I watch Seal Team on Paramount+ and was catching up this week. Not sure if anyone watches it but OMG, I just told my boss that I might have to take a mental health day. Between being shocked and sad, I was almost in tears. Did not see that one coming.

I also bought one of those outside spiral type Christmas tree light up decoration thingys

I had a few of these. I always liked them because they look pretty in the yard without being gaudy.

Wyatt has his championship game on Saturday.

Good afternoon hi from still chilly for me, LA. AuntieMe3, prayers you are keeping warm out there, too. Quieter Wednesday around here which is lovely. Grateful extra to God, dad has stayed home today. he'll go to Target, Sprouts (right by each other) and then to Ralph's which is just 5 minutes from the other two stores. Sandro, our Sparkletts delivery man came earlier. He's such a nice guy. I'm starting to think about Christmas cards and postcards. Remember to PM me please if you'd like one. That was one of Don (hubby)'s favorite shows, but we don't get Paramount+ so he hasn't been able to watch it. I heard they are cancelling it after this season?

Its gray , cloudy, and cold at 39. Sure looks and feels like it's going to snow,,and it had better not. Just back from the Stateline Discount store over the PA line. I wanted to get another can of crab meat while they had it marked down. Also picked up some salads..like the ones they have in Walmart, a whole meal in one salad type. They are almost $5 in Walmart..this store had them for $1. I got 2 smaller bacon ranch ones, 2 really big Cobb ones, and 2 BLT ones. That is enough for 6 meals for us. Also picked up a few other things. They had 3 lbs of Hillshire Farm kielbasa for $4.99. Got 2 lbs of grass fed ground beef for $2.79 a lb. Got 2 small boxes of Harry and David dark chocolate moose munch to snack on while watching movies, and a few other things. What I bought today cost me $45, it would have cost well over $100 at walmart. Now I am home for the rest of the week. Tomorrow will be cleaning day, then I want to go through Christmas totes.
Going to have the salad and leftover tomato soup for dinner..easy and not much clean up

@lynxstch You got some good deals at the store today. I have to go through my Christmas totes that I brought from the house. I am going to get rid of most of the generic ornaments and save the kids' ones. I am hoping maybe they will take some. I want to declutter even more. Hope you don't get more snow.

It is cold here now. The rain has stopped but the wind picked up. I just got back from a walk and it was chilly. At least it made me walk faster.

The real estate agent did not call me today. Not a good sign but maybe he figures that since I am not in a hurry he can take his time. He did say in the email that this complex is still very "hot" property and my condo is really nice. So I feel like I know that I can sell it when I am ready. I do have a few more questions for when he does call. Now to ruminate about this for the next month!

Kenny is getting ready for hosting Thanksgiving. I sent him a list of things to get the grocery store. I bought alot of stuff for the cupcakes and chocolate cream pie as well as spices for the squash. I needed him to get the fresher stuff like squash and milk and eggs. While I was at a smaller grocery store today I saw lots and lots of turkeys. I am not sure why the meat manager at Market Basket told my coworker that there was a shortage. I think maybe there was a shortage of smaller turkeys.

Good Chilly morning. It is 35 here today and not supposed to be much more than 45 today.

I have not heard of A Hot Cocoa Christmas movie but will be interested in what you think of it. I have been watching alot of Hallmark movies, most of them from previous years.

I am off to the office today. I start working from the condo but then go around 8 or so.

Good Thursday morning everyone!

Visited with Mia yesterday for 3 hours, she apparently likes my rocking technique.

Had to show the dogs and cats some love when I got home. They aren't used to me being so late during the week. They got some extra treats.

Watched Survivor and fell asleep 1/2 way through the Amazing Race. I'll catch the end of that when I get home today since I record it.

I heard they are cancelling it after this season?

I didn't hear that but I suspected it was going to happen based on the recent story lines.

Good chilly morning. 33 now going to a high of 37. Makes me feel like decorating, so I better finish getting all those totes organized. I have so much stuff to get rid of, stuff we haven't used for decorating since we moved here in 2002. I put our old big tree out in the trash yesterday, I just don't have the energy to decorate one that big anymore, and half the lights didn't work, and I am not about to start putting more on it. It was in one of those storage bags, and was gone before the trashmen came, so I guess someone can make use of it.
I have been collecting Hallmark ornaments for more than 50 years so I have quite a collection. I went through them yesterday to sort them. I am keeping quite a few, and made each grandchild a box with ones that I know they will like. I hope someday that they will put them on their own trees when they have famlies.
@footballmouse --I am so glad you got to hold Mia for 3 hours. You are bonding with her so quickly, and she will always know who her grandmother is. Do you know of somewhere I can look up the storyline for this season so I can tell Don? If so, you don't need to post it on here, you can send me a pm if you would please.
@snowys--I have that hot cocoa movie taped on the dvr but haven't watched it yet. Between Hallmark, Hallmark movies, and Lifetime, I have too many holiday movies taped already,,it will take me till February to get through them.

Off to wash the kitchen floor and the rugs, do another load of laundry and then dust and vaccum the rest of the house

I am done for the day. Bathroom and kitchen floors are washed, rugs washed. Dusted and vacuumed all the rooms. Did dishes, made coleslaw, made a pan of Ghiardelli triple fudge chunk brownies, (the whole house smells like chocolate now, lol). Brought both humidifers up from the cellar and got them going. Cleaned out the litter boxes, and now I am tired--wonder why, lol
Sky is still dark and gray, temp is up to 36, but isn't going to be much higher

Don called Summer a little while ago. We hadn't heard from her since the other night. She said she's still in pain and miserable, and still can't get in to the Dr until sometime in Dec. Lily has an ear infection so she was on the way to take her to the Dr. And Gracie has a kidney infection. She had to take her to the Dr yesterday. She just can't win lately --has to play chauffeur to all of them

Dad is doing some close by morning shopping. We are waiting to hear whether Terri will be able to come tomorrow afternoon. If she does, we will bake cookies beforehand. I've been keeping warmer on the with my snowman print blanket. Do any of you watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? As I have shared, I am not very parade patient at all. DL's A Christmas Fantasy Parade was one I did enjoy because it was merry, quicker, and not too loud. Asking about the Macy's parade because I would enjoy seeing at the end of the parade, which I missed doing last year. I would appreciate so much one of you back East who may see this before me, posting about when Santa makes his appearance. Thank you so much!

Snowysmom, I will definitely share how we like A Hot Cocoa Christmas when we watch it. Since all of you know I so enjoy my Kroger hot chocolate from Ralph’s, how could I not record this one? @flyingdumbo127 I used to watch the Thanksgiving parade but do not have the patience for it any more. It seems to be alot of advertising for Broadway shows and TV shows. I just want to see the parade, not clips form TV shows or dancing and singing acts.

It was nice to see everyone in the office. They are still organizing the space and figuring out where people will sit. If you are coming in 2 or more days a week you get a dedicated cube. In accounting we are getting an area as we need to be in at least once a week and need to lock up stuff so need a space. People who just come in once in a while have to reserve cubes, much like an office hotel.

The real estate agent in Kenny's area sent me 2 condos to look at just to get my feedback on what I am looking for. She knows I am not selling or buying right now. Both were too big and one was not in a location I was interested in. The other agent still has not gotten back to me. I guess he figures that I will contact him when I want to sell. I did get the info I was looking for from him via email anyway. I think he wanted to talk to me to try to get me to sell now but I made it clear I was just gathering info right now.
