That's terrifying B&B - I'm glad you're OK! These kinds of falls become all the more scary as we age - I hope you heal up quickly and your landlord gets things repaired.
Totally NOT diminishing your event - but one of the funniest stories from my childhood (in retrospect, but not at the time!) was when my best friend had her first job in a restaurant. She was going to school, working, burning the candle at both ends, as you do when you're a teen - and she fainted while filling the dishwasher at work. After falling into the dishwasher, she immediately jumped up saying "I'm OK! I'm OK!", but everyone was looking at her with absolute horror. She had fallen into the cutlery basket and had a FORK sticking straight out of her forehead!!! Very minor injury for her, but I suspect those who saw her will never lose that image! She pulled it out and went right back to work. Ah to be 19 again...!
